Czech glass beads stitched into oval beaded beads in a technique invented by mainland Chinese beaders in the early first millennium AD. I brought home a sample and figred out the technique - which is not difficult. What is difficult is how much time is required to reinforce each oval after you finish creating the initial structure. Enjoyable if you fall into a meditative state, in which casem time flies.
Oxidized sterling silver spacer beads.
