Because the tiny curry beads were just too tiny to string - although beautiful to behold.
The Wide brooch is dated “1991” at one end.
The Narrow brooch is dated “1992” at one end.

A wooden form whose back is covered with black ultrasuede, and whose ends are covered with resin.
Tiny Venetian glass beads in a bright curry color. I used to string these a few beads at a time, using an 8-inch long lace needle almost as fine as a human hair. Along with fine nylon monofilament.
Other antique European glass beads, including fine, rust-colored needle bugles.
Contemporary Czech glass beads.
Nickel silver pin parts.
