Understated and Elegant.
And very lightweight.
I created these beauties in the 1990s.
Made with:
Late 19th century Venetian glass beads in a dusty shade of mauve - and almost as small as a grain of sand. I used to string these tiny beads with an antique lace needle about 6” long, and extremely fine nylon monofilament.
Large antique beads in faceted black, from late 19th or early 20th c. Europe. Beads of this shape are sometimes called “cornerless cubes.”
Oxidized sterling silver lever backs, easy to use and comfortable to wear.
Weight:
As above - very lightweight.
Dimensions:
2 1/2” tall including sterling lever backs x about 1” wide.
