A great many antique and vintage beads I collected over the last 30 years:
Four of my vintage beaded beads from the 1980s, featuirng Japanese glass beads woven over wooden forms whose ends are finished with resin.
Long, narrow glass “trade beads” made in Venice in the late 19th-early 20th century and then shipped to Africa as trade goods. Brought back to the West in the 1970s. Each features two or more concentric dots in contrasting colors.
One sterling silver octahedron, made of oxidized sterling silver beads.
Two contemporary oval glass beads with horizontal stripes, probably made in Ghana.
Two dark wood beads featuring large white spots, from somewhere in Africa.
One antique vintage plastic or Bakelite bead in shades of ivory tinged with brown. whose surface appears to be carved or molded with floral motifs.
One amber-colored bead shaped like a cornerless cube, made of Baltic amber in the early 20th century.
Various other contemporary Czech glass beads.
An oxidized sterling silver lobster clasp with a large ring for easy on-off.

Please know that some of the older beads - especially the long tubular beads that traveled from Venice, Africa and the US - may have chips or indentations consistent with their global journeys. Imperfections of this nature merely add to the character and appeal of these beads.
