Lush and Globally Aware

  • Soulful and nuanced.

  • One of a kind. Featuring beads from around the world, made of stone, glass, amber, wood, sterling silver, and 14 karat yellow gold.

  • A conversation piece guaranteed to attract interesting, thoughtful people.

Made With Rare and Unusual Beads, Including

  • Three handmade carnelian beads, possible from the ancient Middle East. The long oval bead hangs somewhat offcenter because of how its hole was drilled.

  • Two handmade green serptentine beads, probably from somewhere in Africa.

  • Three antique 14 karat yellow gold beads, elegantly styled with diagonal curves, probably from the United States or Europe.

  • Two handmade granite beads of unknown age, probably from Africa or the Middle East.

  • Two black oval beads made of wood and inlaid with silver dots or lines. These are recent prayer beads from the Middle East.

  • Antique European glass beads in shades of copper or copper with white swirls. Probably 19th century Venetian.

  • Two oxidized sterling silver beaded beads stitched by me or one of my former assistants.

  • Contemporary Czech glass beads.

  • One faceted amber bead from an unkonwn location.

Also Featuring:

  • An oxidized sterling silver lobster clasp for easy on-off.

  • Nylon-coated steel cable stringing wire for maximum strength and flexibility.

Weight

  • Lightweight.

Dimensions

  • 1/2” diameter by 23.5” length.

Additional Information

  • Can be shortened for no additional charge, or lengthened for a small charge. Just click “Contact” and send me a note. I’ll modify this necklace so it’s just right for you.
