Rare & Refined.
One of a kind.
Featuring neutral colors that are both warm and rich.
Made with:
Rare antique Venetian glass beads in shades of ivory, rose and cobalt blue. Made in the late 19th century, they traveled by ship to Africa, where they spent many decades being loved by African peoples before being shippped back to the West as wondrous historical artifacts. Look closely at the speckles on the ivory backgrounds. Can you see the small Venetian glass beads that were pressed into the background one by one? A brilliant technical feat accomplished when the glass was molten hot. I’ve had these beads on hand for 40 years. They almost never appear on the market. If they did, they’d be snapped up right away.
My vintage beaded beads made of Japanese glass seed beads woven into peyote stitch panels that are stitched around wooden forms whose ends I sealed with resin. In 1994 I received a pantent on the process from the US government.
Oxidized sterling silver end caps, along with an oxidized sterling silver lobster clasp that attaches to a large sterling silver ring for easy on off.
