Luminous and Lightweight
Stitched in a beading technique I invented by analogy with a technique used on a late 19th century Chinese beaded screen panel. See the panel in Figures 7-9 of this research paper I wrote a few years ago: https://www.academia.edu/36085656/_Mainland_Chinese_Export_Beadwork_by_Valerie_Hector
Made with:
Oxidized sterling sillver beads, caps and lever backs.
Weight:
Surprisingly lightweight. That said, these earrings are a bit bulky to wear. I see them as event earrings, best worn for 4-6 hours instead of all day long.
Dimensions:
1 7/8” wide x just over 2 1/2” tall including lever backs.
