Burnished Bronze Necklace - 19"

Luminous & Serene.

• Designed in 2018 and then stored in a bag in a studio drawer. Strung and finished in 2026.

Made with:

• Antique European textured brass beads with gentle, nuanced patinas. Even though these beads vary in color from relatively lighter to relatively darker, they give off a soft, burnished glow. They were lighty laquered just after being made, so their finishes have not faded in many years.

• Black wood disk beads from the Philippines.

• Five of my vintage beaded beads made of Japanese glass beads of bronze and black united in peyote stitch.

• An oxidized sterling silver lobster clasp.

• Very lightweight.

• 19 long by just under 3/4” diameter.
