Japanese glass beads, stitched in an ancient technique now known as “peyote stitch.” It creates a dense diagonal lattice of beads that can be patterned in many ways.
14 karat yellow gold posts. Slightly thicker than average, to increase durability. I have never had a gold post break - in 30+ years of using them.
Plastic disk earring backs.
