A Beautiful Piece
Unfinished for a number of years. I just never got around to it.
A minor engineering feat, from my perspective.
Surprisingly lightweight.
Wear as a brooch or a pendant. Your choice.
Made with:
An oxidized sterilng silver frame I created by soldering sterling silver disks, wires and jump rings.
Oxidized sterling silver beads, stitched into a hemisphere that is stitched to the sterling armature.
Czech glass beads, stitched into various structures that are stitched to the sterling armature.
Nickel silver pin parts.
Weight:
Lightweight.
Dimensions:
2 1/4” diameter by 3/4” depth.
Additional Information:
I will add the pinstem, polish the sterling beaded element, perfect all other details, and sign the brooch before shipping.
When worn as a brooch, the smallest Element sits pretty much anywehre you want it to sit. When worn as a pendant, the sterling element will sit on top.
The inner diameter of the pendant loop measures about slightly more than 1/8” diameter. Both my THIN and THICK neck wires will fit through.
