Valerie will be speaking at the Istanbul Bead & Beadwork
Conference. Her illustrated presentation is entitled "Respect and
Cherish Written Words: Interpreting Inscriptions in Mainland Chinese
Beadwork from the Ming Dynasty to the Present Day."
